Why does Outlook choose to use a combination of 100% cotton fabric on the outside and polyester filling on the inside?

We use natural cotton fibre on the outside because it is the most comfortable next to baby’s skin and we use polyester filling inside because it does not heavily retain moisture and therefore won’t stay wet or harbour any nasty bacteria like cotton wadding does.
